<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of a person to be authenticated without requiring the person to perform any operation for authentication. <P>SOLUTION: A face authentication sensor 4 of a sub-system 1 is provided with: an image pickup part; a featured value extraction part for extracting the face information of the target person from an image picked up by the image pickup part; and an authentication part for authenticating the target person by comparing the extracted face information of the target person with a template. The face authentication sensor 4 performs authentication, and transmits ID corresponding to the authenticated template as ID authentication data together with image data through the controller 10 and a home panel 2 to the control panel 3. In the control panel 3, a microcomputer part extracts the ID from the ID authentication data, and a liquid crystal display 320 of a display part displays the message corresponding to the extracted ID together with the face image picked up by the face authentication sensor 4, and a speaker part outputs the message as a voice message. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
