PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic acrylic resin composition which can be used for coatings, adhesives, and the like, does not deteriorate ion conductivity also after cross-linked with a cross-linking agent, is especially suitable for forming adhesive layers for the surface-protecting films of optical members such as polarizing plates used for producing liquid crystal displays, is transparent, and little generates static electricity, when peeled. SOLUTION: This antistatic acrylic resin composition comprising a hydroxyl group-having acrylic resin (A) having hydroxyl groups and an alkylene oxide chain, a compound (B) having a functional group capable of reacting with the hydroxyl group, and an ion compound (C) is characterized in that the acrylic resin (A) contains a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate having a primary hydroxyl group and having 3 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl chain as an essential component.
