PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method that does not require a large inspection apparatus, is not affected by glaze for oxidization prevention, and can easily, certainly find a flaw of a graphite containing ceramic vessel. SOLUTION: A small sensor unit 2 mounting an eddy current sensor 4 inside it is moved along the opening edge of the conductive graphite containing ceramic vessel 1, and eddy current flaw inspection of the existence of a crack is performed from the inner surface of the opening of the vessel. As the sensor unit 2, an inverse-U-shaped body 3 straddling the opening edge of the graphite containing ceramic vessel 1 is used that is provided with rollers 5, 6 and 7, the eddy current sensor 4, and a spring 10 for keeping constant distance from the eddy current sensor 4 to the vessel surface.
