PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide in which strain of an infinite circulating passage is prevented or relieved, even when a member for constituting a rolling body return passage is extended in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: This linear guide (a linear guide device) 10 has a guide rail 12 and a slider 16 relatively movably straddlingly arranged to its guide rail 12. The slider 16 has a slider body 17 having the rolling body return passage 20, and a pair of end caps 22 installed on both ends of its slider body 17. Its rolling body return passage 20 comprises a through-hole 32 formed in the slider body 17, and a circulating tube 30 being a return guide member fitted in its through-hole 32. An allowance margin Y allowing an elongation in the longitudinal direction of the circulating tube 30, is arranged between this circulating tube 30 and the end caps 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
