PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide snow melting technique, simplifying construction, inexpensive, and lowering running cost by holding down heat loss to equalize heat radiation balance in a rain gutter snow melting device for eliminating icicle, snow eaves, slush leakage and freezing of a down pipe. SOLUTION: This rain gutter snow melting device includes: an eaves gutter for receiving rainwater from a roof; an eaves gutter cover for covering an upper opening of the eaves gutter to cause secondary convection of hot air; a convection cover for causing primary convection of hot air inside the eaves gutter cover; the down pipe connected to the eaves gutter to discharge rainwater; and a hot air generator for supplying hot air to the down pipe. The cold air passes through the hot air generator to become hot air, which flows to the eaves gutter through the down pipe. The hot air which has flowed into the eaves gutter causes convection in the convection cover to spread to the bottom of the eaves gutter, and further it spreads to the space made by the eaves gutter cover and the eaves gutter, so that hot air is jetted from a rainwater inlet of the eaves gutter cover.
