PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tire having a bead part reinforced by using a fixed rubber composition in a chafer part and a heavy-duty tire, especially applicable to trucks, buses, industrial vehicles, construction vehicles, airplanes, etc. SOLUTION: In the tire in which a rubber chafer is laid at a contact part of a bead part with at least a rim, a rubber composition comprising 20-100 mass% of a rubber component being a modified butene-based rubber and 0-80 mass% of the rubber component being a natural rubber is used in the rubber chafer, the modified butene-based rubber is obtained by coupling a 1,3-butadiene homopolymer or a copolymer of 1,3-butadiene and a comonomer to be subjected to solution polymerization with a titanium-containing compound and the (co)polymer has the bonding amount of the comonomer of≤10 mass% and the vinyl bonding amount in the butadiene part of≤40 mass%.
