PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental composition exhibiting high preservation stability that comprises at least one of (meth)acrylate monomers, oligomers and prepolymers bearing no acid groups as a polymerizable resin which polymerizes and cures by a redox reaction of a peroxide. SOLUTION: The dental composition comprises a first component comprising a polymerizable resin consisting of at least one of (meth)acrylate monomers, oligomers and prepolymers bearing no acid groups and a second component comprising a polymerizable resin consisting of at least one of (meth)acrylate monomers, oligomers and prepolymers bearing no acid groups, wherein a hydrogen peroxide-polyvinyl pyrrolidone composite as a polymerization initiator is incorporated with one component and a thiourea derivative as a reducing substance for the polymerization initiator is incorporated with the other component.
