PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable theophylline-containing coated granules having a good sustained releasing property and also without forming the adhesion of the granules with each other even after preserving them for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This theophylline-containing multiple-coated granule is provided by having a particle containing the theophylline in its innermost layer, a layer containing an alkyl acrylate-alkyl methacrylate copolymer, talc and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose as its outer layer, and a layer containing silicon dioxide and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose as a further outer layer.
