PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a cord reel which has a high vibration resistance, does not generate waste paper, allows highly efficient packing and transportation with high work performance and materializes an environment-friendly transportation. SOLUTION: In the container for the cord reel 1, at least a reel center hole of the lowest cord reel 70 is engaged in a reel center receiving projection on a bottom plate on a pallet 8 for positioning and the cord reel 70 is stacked thereon one by one. A side winding airbag 41 is wound on the stacked cord reels 70 and air is poured into the airbag and then a side plate 14 and 16 are stood and an upper covering airbag 42 is placed thereon and they are closed with an upper lid 20. The circumference of the cord reel 70 is covered and protected with the airbag 41 and the stacked cord reels 70 are maintained in a concentricity state firmly and the position of the stacked cord reels to the side plates 14, 16 is fixed.
