PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel driving device capable of improving the flexibility in setting an oil pump rotation frequency while keeping the certainty of action of an oil pump. SOLUTION: The wheel driving device 1 comprises a case 3 attached to a vehicle through a suspension device 130, a traction motor 20 provided in the case 3 and including a stator 21 and a rotor 22, a rotor shaft 25 to which the rotor 22 is fixed, an oil 11 injected into the case 3, an oil cooler cooling the oil 11, and an oil pump 50 supplying the oil 11 cooled by the oil cooler to the stator 21. The wheel driving device 1 also comprises a pump driving shaft 52 driving the oil pump 40, an oil pump driving motor 51 driving the pump driving shaft 52, and a one-way clutch 70 interposed between the rotor shaft 25 and the pump driving shaft 52, and capable of transmitting torque in one direction from the rotor shaft 25 to the pump driving shaft 52.
