PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer in which a throughput for a VH modulation processing time does not decrease in the inkjet printer for improving image quality by stabilizing the discharge rate of ink of a head by modulating the driving voltage VH of the head at each scanning. SOLUTION: Processing of the VH modulation control of next scanning is executed at the timing of ending printing (interrupting heat ending), and, further, next timing for starting printing is informed during an LF operation in the simultaneous operations of the printing and sheet feeding, but the permission of the printing is informed earlier for the processing time by considering the VH modulation processing time, thereby finishing the processing of the VH modulation control immediately before the lamp down of CR and the start of the printing of the next scanning to prevent the decrease of the throughput at the time of using the VH modulation.
