PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which can record an equal quality of image to various recording media, has a high productivity, and is compact and at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the inkjet apparatus 10 having a recording medium conveying means for conveying a recording medium, a full line inkjet head which delivers the ink curable by irradiating the recording medium conveyed by the recording medium conveying means with ultraviolet rays based on an image signal and has approximately the same length as the width of the recording medium, and an ultraviolet irradiating means for curing the ink delivered on the recording medium by the full line head, the recording medium conveying means at least comprises a platen 17 for supporting the recording medium, and a position opposing the ultraviolet irradiating means of the platen is made to be white color.
