PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide air pressure adjusting method and management method for an impact wrench for preventing occurrence of an accident due to coming-off of a wheel. SOLUTION: In this air pressure adjusting method, a hub bolt 3 for adjustment, protruded on a hub 4 for adjustment, and a nut 5 for adjustment are used, and the nut 5 for adjustment, screw-fitted into the hub bolt 3 for adjustment is tightened by the impact wrench 1 set at a predetermined air pressure to fasten the wheel W to the hub 4 for adjustment. The axial force generated in the hub bolt 3 for adjustment when tightening is measured. If a value of the measured axial force is out of a scope of a predetermined axial force set in advance, air pressure of the impact wrench 1 is adjusted so that the value of the measured axial force is within the scope of the predetermined axial force set in advance.
