<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium having three or more recording layers which can be inexpensively manufactured without wasting its material, can suppress thickness unevenness of each layer to the minimum and has a structure wherein a leaked signal from an adjacent layer can be reduced when the three or more recording layers exist and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium having at least three or more substrates each having an optical guide groove or a projecting and recessed shape, at least two substrates have thicknesses different from each other.
