<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite optical element for optical pickup which is adaptable to a plurality of recording media and is easil assembled. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of objective lenses 1, 2 are formed integrally, also holder 5 (lens barrel) for other optical elements or optical elements themselves are formed integrally.
