摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy coating film for a metal separator of a fuel cell excelling in corrosion resistance, low in contact resistance, capable of keeping the low contact resistance over a long period even in a corrosive atmosphere, and excelling in productivity; a method for producing the same; a metal separator; and a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This alloy coating film for a metal separator of a fuel cell is characterized by containing at least one noble metal element selected from Au and Pt and at least one non-noble metal element selected from the group consisting of Ti, Zr, Nb, Hf and Ta, and having a thickness of &ge;2 nm.
