An analysis chip which has a baseboard having a selectively binding subst ance immobilized on the surface thereof, a covering member bonded to this ba seboard and fine particles contained or injected in a movable state within a space that is formed between the baseboard and the covering member, wherein the surface of the fine particles is coated with a surfactant. Owing to thi s construction, it is possible to prevent the formation of bubbles inhibitin g a selective reaction between a test substance and the selectively binding substance having been immobilized so that data variation and lowering in the sensitivity can be regulated and the reproducibility of the measurement can be elevated.
