<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate stably a recording clock and a reproducing clock without increasing circuit scale and power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The device has a wobble signal detecting means detecting a wobble signal formed in a disk type recording medium, a first clock generating means generating a first clock having a frequency relating to a wobble period based on the wobble signal detected by the wobble signal detecting means, and a second clock generating means generating a channel clock having a frequency relating to a channel period making a frequency component in which predetermined processing is performed for a control signal when the first clock generating means generates the first clock, wherein a voltage control oscillator incorporated in the first clock generating means and a voltage control oscillator incorporated in the second clock generating means have the same composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
