<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method for enhancing a recovery without deteriorating a treatment capacity, and a water treatment apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The water treatment method includes a separation process A for performing flocculation pressure flotation separation and/or flocculation/sedimentation separation after raw water is once stored in a raw water storage tank, a separation process B for subjecting the treated water obtained in the separation process A to filtering treatment and a separation process C for separating the treated water obtained in the separation process B using a reverse osmosis membrane to obtain permeating water.
