<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure for cable that facilitates installation operation of additional drawing cables using the same sealing member, without inconveniencing parties other than a recipient of the installation, by making installation of additional drawing cables possible without restricting the limit, with the feasible number of branching for example, of the number of cables to be drawn from a sealing member and without stopping circuitry or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the sealing member 12 for sealing both ends 11a of a sleeve 11 of a drop closure 10, a plurality of upper insertion slits 31 that are open in the upper end faces and extending inward and a plurality of lower insertion slits 32 that are open in the lower end faces and extending inward are arranged parallel to each other. Each of these insertion slits 31, 32 can be drawn externally in an insertable condition by opening it with nearly the same width as the diameter of a drop cable f, and water tightness is secured by packing the slits with a filler 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
