PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headup display system capable of achieving clear display having good visibility and giving depth to the display, while obtaining very high contrast display visibility. SOLUTION: The headup display system is equipped with a masking enlarging part 2, functioning also as a reflection part of the display of the headup display on a front wind shield 7, by enlarging a colored part to cover over the periphery of the front wind shield 7; fluorescent paint printing parts 21 and 22 provided on a driver side with respect to the masking enlarging part 2 and is excited by radiated light so as to emit light, thereby performing display which is to be superimposed on the front side of virtual image display of the headup display; a second light source 23 and a third light source 24 for irradiating the light to the fluorescent paint print parts 21 and 22; and a control part 11 for controlling the driving and stoppage of the second light source 23 and the third light source 24.
