PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM receiver which prevents interference with television broadcasting waves. SOLUTION: An FM receiver 100 comprises a variable frequency oscillation circuit 130 which outputs signals of oscillation frequency f<SB>0</SB>that varies depending on the voltage; a frequency divider 140 which divides the oscillation frequency f<SB>0</SB>and outputs the signal of local oscillation signal f<SB>1</SB>; and a mixer 150 which mixes the signal of local oscillation frequency f<SB>1</SB>with that of FM reception frequency f<SB>R</SB>to generate the signal of intermediate frequency f<SB>2</SB>. The receiver also comprises a control part 200 which determines whether an interference with the FM broadcasting waves occurs, based on the position information of a mobile body and then changes the oscillation frequency f<SB>0</SB>of the variable frequency oscillating circuit 130 and the frequency division ratio of the frequency divider 140 for switching the superheterodyne method from a lower side to an upper side, if the interference is determined as to occur.
