PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably or properly and automatically adjust audio according to actual contents of a digital broadcast content. SOLUTION: A digital broadcast content reproducing device includes an audio signal demodulation section (13) which demodulates an audio signal included in the digital broadcast content, a subtitle text acquisition section (15) which acquires a subtitle text included in the digital broadcast content, an audio adjustment section (19) which adjusts at least one of the sound quality and sound field of the demodulated audio signal, an audio scene judgement section (17) which judges an audio scene being reproduced on the basis of the acquired subtitle text, and a control section (18) which controls the audio adjustment by the audio adjustment section (19) on the basis of the judgement result of the audio scene judgement section (17).
