PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an optimum alignment state by detecting a change in the alignment of a laser oscillator and changes in the gain of the laser medium. SOLUTION: A spatial filter 64 is provided outside a laser oscillator 65 having an alignment adjustment mechanism; an output signal from a plurality of temperature sensors 66 mounted to the spatial filter 64 is processed by an arithmetic circuit 63; and the adjustment-type mirror holding mechanism of the alignment adjustment mechanism is operated so that laser beams are transmitted on the optical axis of the spatial filter 64 by the output from the arithmetic circuit 63.
