PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure control device improving traveling performance of a vehicle on a rutted road by tire air. SOLUTION: This tire air pressure control device 101 includes: a compressed air supply source 61; a pressure reducing valve 63; a solenoid valve unit 103; selector valve units 22 provided to wheels of tires 17<SB>FL</SB>, 17<SB>FR</SB>, 17<SB>RL</SB>, 17<SB>RR</SB>; a controller 65; wheel speed sensors SV<SB>FL</SB>, SV<SB>FR</SB>, SV<SB>RL</SB>, SV<SB>RR</SB>; a lateral G sensor S<SB>G</SB>; a steering angle sensor S<SB>S</SB>; and a rutted road switch 108. The controller 65 determines whether or not the vehicle travels on the rutted road on the basis of a steering angle, a lateral acceleration of the vehicle, and the operating condition of the rutted road switch 108. When determined that the vehicle travels on the rutted road, the controller outputs a command signal for decreasing tire air pressure of front wheels to the solenoid valve unit 103.
