PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cooking at a high speed and to eliminate the difference of burning colors on the front surface and back surface of a cooked object when performing cooking using a grill part. SOLUTION: The cooker includes a grid 13 provided inside a heating chamber 10 of a grill part 6, a tray 14 for mounting the grid 13, an upper heater 11 positioned above the grid 13, a lower heater 12 positioned below the grid and provided with the same rated power as the upper heater 11, and a temperature detection part 15 for detecting the temperature inside the heating chamber 10, and a grill operation part 7a is provided with an alternate energizing switch 18 for alternately energizing the lower heater 12 and the upper heater 11 and a simultaneous energizing switch 19 for simultaneously energizing the lower heater 12 and the upper heater 11 further. In the cooker, the lower heater 12 is continuously energized by the maximum power and the upper heater 11 is operated by intermittent energizing when the upper heater 11 and the lower heater 12 are simultaneously energized.
