MULTILAYER COMPOSITE MATERIAL HAVING A LAYER OF POLYCARBONATE

A multilayer composite material having at least one layer of (co)polycarbonate is disclosed. The (co)polycarbonate contains as end groups phenolate groups of formula (1) wherein R is selected from the group consisting of C₁₀-C₂₅-alkyl, C₁₀-C₂₅-alkoxy and C₁₀-C₂₅-alkyl-substituted aryl. The inventive composite material which may be transparent or colored, exhibits improved laminability and processability as compared with the prior art and may be laser-printable.
