The invention relates particularly to an eyeglass lens having a first and second surface, wherein at least the first surface of the eyeglass lens has a basic partial zone and at least one prism zone. The basic partial zone of the first surface, together with the opposing second surface of the eyeglass lens, forms a basic part of the eyeglass lens, which is designed to view at least a predefined distance. The prism zone of the first surface, together with the opposing second surface of the eyeglass lens, forms a prism part, which is configured and disposed such that an optical depiction of a display is produced at a predefined virtual distance in front of the eyes of the spectacle wearer. The invention further relates to glasses, which comprise the eyeglass lens, and to a method and devices for calculating or optimizing, and producing, the eyeglass lens.
