PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an antibacterial resin molded product inhibiting the proliferation of aquatic bacteria over a long period of time and to provide the resultant molded product such as a water server. SOLUTION: The antimicrobial resin molded product inhibiting the proliferation of the aquatic bacteria is produced as follows: a mixture containing a silver-based inorganic antibacterial agent, a halide of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal and a polyolefinic resin is melt mixed to form a resin composition.
