<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion device in which load variation to a plurality of ball arrays in a linear block during operation is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A slider 12 is constituted by coupling split planar bodies 12a and 12b through a slide member 12c, and the planar bodies 12a and 12b are provided, respectively, with a linear block 15. Even if thermal deformation occurs in the slider 12, slide width by the slide member 12c serves as the margin of elongation and absorbs elongation of the slider 12 due to thermal deformation internally, thus suppressing generation of rolling load for rotating the linear blocks 15 around a linear rail 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
