PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of maintaining normal traveling performance and efficiently reducing the temperature of the tire. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided with a projection 17 for generating turbulence on the surface of the tire. The projection 17 is provided with a front rugged part 17 projected and recessed toward a tire rotating direction on a front side of a projection center line CL passing through a center of a tire rotating direction width of the projection 17 and perpendicular to the tire rotating direction.
