PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate the life without increasing the capacity of an electric double layer capacitor, in a power conversion system which charges an electric double layer capacitor 4 in advance while a power source 1 is sound, and converts power by power conversion equipment 5 from the electric double layer capacitor at power failure of the power source, and supplies the power to a load 2. SOLUTION: The power conversion equipment 5 has a clocking function, and the charge voltage of the electric double layer capacitor is set in a charge voltage table 6 in advance, according to a time zone or period, and it automatically regulates the charge voltage of the electric double layer capacitor into the voltage that it can supplies the present load power from the electric double layer capacitor and besides the lowest voltage.
