PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which elimination of a light shielding body from the front of a ferrule is difficult when the end face of the ferrule is cleaned, since a conventional optical connector adaptor is such that the light shielding body rotates around a rotary axis or is deviated from the center line of the ferrule when a second plug frame arranged in the front of a plug frame slides on the outside of the plug frame. SOLUTION: The optical connector plug is characterized in that, in the light shielding body, one side opposite from a holding side is made to fall on a ferrule side. As a result, in cleaning the end face of the ferrule front part, the end face of the ferrule can be easily exposed by pushing the light shielding body into the side of the ferrule with a cleaning tool such as a swab, which facilitates cleaning of the end face of the ferrule.
