PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high-quality industrial salt from salt water at a low cost. SOLUTION: This method for producing industrial salt comprising dehydrating in a dehydrator salt slurry obtained by crystallizing an alkaline salt water generated in a washing process or the like after gasification of waste comprises re-dehydrating the hydrated salt in the dehydrator by adding thereto an acidic salt water having salt concentration of [20 g-salt/100 g-salt water] or more as a washing liquid to produce a neutral industrial salt containing no harmful substance.
