<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for forming a thermal spray coating, wherein roughening treatment and preheating treatment are simultaneously performed as pretreatment to thermal spraying, and, in this case, red rust is not generated in the surface of the base material, further, a spray coating has excellent adhesion, further, spot working can be performed, and the reduction of working treatment (time necessary for completion) and cost reduction can be realized as well. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for forming a thermal spray coating, the surface of the base material to be treated is subjected to thermal blast working, so as to be preheated, and simultaneously, to be roughened, next, the surface of the base material to be treated is thermally sprayed with oxide based ceramic, thus an oxide based ceramic spray coating is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
