PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional shape processing apparatus performing more accurate three-dimensional shape processing.

SOLUTION: A plurality of local patch area (eyes, a nose, etc.) is extracted from a three-dimensional shape of a measured face. A quality of data is operated with respect to each local patch area. Data of a part corresponding to each local patch area is stored together with its quality. When measurement data of a new local patch area is obtained (S501), a quality of this new data is compared with the quality of data of a stored corresponding local patch area (S503). When the quality of new data is higher (YES in S505), stored data is updated with the new data (S507).
