<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device capable of maintaining high flexibility in mounting a rotary component on a rotating shaft without unnecessarily reducing the natural frequency of the rotating shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic bearing device comprises a structure 3 as part of a magnetic bearing, having a pair of electromagnets 4a, 4b and configured to hold one axial disc 2 of the rotating shaft 1 between the pair of electromagnets 4a, 4b. In the structure 3 as part of the magnetic bearing, an axial displacement sensor 5 is provided at its face on the opposite side to the face matching the axial disc 2. Configured to be opposed to the axial displacement sensor 5, a sensor target 6 is protruded from the rotating shaft 1 into a flange shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
