PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for the preservation of a vascular endothelium, which prevents coronary restenosis and preserves a vascular endothelium.

SOLUTION: The composition comprises a PDGF A-chain antisense oligonucleotide or a derivative thereof as the active ingredient. The composition inhibits the abnormal growth of vascular smooth muscle cells and preserves a vascular endothelium.
