<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorber which is easily thinned. <P>SOLUTION: The radio wave absorber comprises in sequence from one end: a resistive element layer 2 including a resistive element, a magnetic substance layer 3 functioning as a magnetic substance, and a conductive layer 4. The magnetic substance layer 3 is mesh patterned magnetic wire rod by a first wire rod with a copper second layer provided on the outer circumference of a polyester wire rod and a ferromagnetic first layer composed of an alloy of iron and nickel and formed on the outer circumference of the first wire rod. The thickness of the first layer is not more than the skin depth caused by the magnetic wave having a frequency absorbed by the radio wave absorber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
