PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine shortening a time (sales time) from deposit of coins to take-out of an article through an article take-out port. SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is constituted to dispense the article displayed on a showcase 50 by moving properly a catcher bucket 70 when the money is deposited and the article is selected, and to take out the article through the article take-out port 24, and the automatic vending machine is provided with an initial motion control means for preparing for moving the catcher bucket 70 without determining the selection for the article, when the money is deposited.
