摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive material storage facility that simplifies the structure in a radioactive material storage area and enhances the cooling performance of radioactive material by uniforming the cooling efficiency of each storage pipe. SOLUTION: The radioactive material storage facility 1 has the radioactive material storage area 2, an air intake passage 8 for guiding cooling air, an exhaust passage 9 for guiding the cooling air to be exhausted to the outside, and a plurality of storage pipes 4 that is arranged in the storage area 2 and store the radioactive material. A porous plate 11A having many air flow ports is arranged horizontally under a part in the storage area 2 for storing the radioactive material of each storage pipe 4, and a lower plenum 13 formed between the floor surface of the storage area 2 and the porous plate 11A is connected with the air intake passage 8. A porous plate 11B having many air flow ports is arranged horizontally above the part in the storage area 2 for storing the radioactive material of each storage pipe 4, and an upper plenum 14 formed between the ceiling surface of the storage area 2 and the porous plate 11B is connected with the exhaust passage 9.
