PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a work for registering discrimination information for discriminating a gas apparatus put into operation is troublesome to a register, and excessive gas is consumed. SOLUTION: A device includes a flow measuring means 3 for measuring a gas flow rate, an apparatus information storage means, the first operation means for calculating a flow rate value output from the flow measuring means and a differential value before a prescribed time (N) at each measuring time, the second operation means for calculating a flow rate difference (Qb-Qa) between a flow rate (Qa) before the time (N) from a time a when the differential value becomes larger than a threshold determined beforehand and a flow rate (Qb) at a time b when an absolute value of the differential value becomes smaller than the threshold after the time a, a registering means for registering the flow rate difference when a single gas apparatus connected on the downstream of the flow measuring means is operated or the differential value in the apparatus information storage means, and an informing means for informing when the registering means finishes registration into the apparatus information storage means.
