PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always optimally receiving by dynamically determining which should be prior to between the positioning accuracy and reception sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the RF receiving circuit 10, the reception signal from the GPS satellite is made to pass through the filter part 15, having a plurality of filters different in passing band between wide and narrow. After a signal including the frequency band of the GPS satellite signal has been extracted, it is outputted to the base band process circuit 20. Based on the signal intensity of the signal outputted from the RF-receiving circuit 10, one filter is selectively switched among the filters in the filter part 15 by the base-band process circuit 20; also the present position of the mobile telephone 1 is determined from the signal outputted from the RF-receiving circuit 10.
