[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In the vehicle seat device, the amounts of control of support sections (16, 17) are calculated according to road conditions, and both support sections (16, 17) are opened and closed according to a support request based on the control amounts. The device has a step (S11) of calculating, based on electronic map data, deceleration G_rq necessary to more safely drive through a curve located ahead in the driving direction, steps (S12, S13) for comparing the required deceleration G_rq and a threshold G_th and determining that the required deceleration G_rq exceeds the threshold G_th, a step (S15) of acquiring the control amounts, based on the electronic map data, of both side support sections (16, 17) when the steps (S12, S13) determine that the required deceleration G_rq exceeds threshold G_th, and a step (S16) of outputting a support request based on the control amount to instruct to open and close both side support sections (16, 17).
