<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin battery capable of miniaturizing, increasing performance, making current distribution uniform, and realizing high capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The thin battery has on an insulating substrate 1 a negative electrode layer 4, a positive electrode layer 5, current collectors 2, 3 electrically connected to both or one of the negative electrode layer 4 and the positive electrode layer 5, and a solid electrolyte layer 6 interposed between the negative electrode layer 4 and the positive electrode layer 5, and the negative electrode layer 4 and the positive electrode layer 5 are installed in positions not overlapped when the insulating substrate 1 is viewed from above, a part of each of the current collectors 2, 3 is arranged between the electrode layers 4, 5 and the insulating substrate 1, and the outer surfaces of the current collectors are covered with the solid electrolyte layer 6 so as not to come in contact with the solid electrolyte layer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
