<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy absorber having a simple constitution by which the surface of liquid in the energy absorber can be effectively calmed down in the case of absorbing the energy of the liquid-flow incoming from an inlet. <P>SOLUTION: The energy absorber 10 incorporates a laminated slit 18, an energy-absorbing space 20, and an outlet pipe 16. The laminated slit 18 is installed in a specified position in the extension direction of the inflow of seawater so as to hold up the incoming seawater and reduce the force of the flow. In the energy-absorbing space 20, the seawater having passed through the laminated slit 18 is retained and the outflow pipe 16 through which the seawater retained in the energy-absorbing space 20 is conducted to the outside is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
