<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can make the luminescent surface shine without unevenness even in the case in which a light emitting element section is arranged at a location being shifted from the center of the luminescent surface. <P>SOLUTION: This sublimation printer 1 (image forming apparatus) is equipped with an LED 11 for displaying, a light guiding member 32, and a lid member 31. In this case, the LED 11 for displaying emits light for displaying. The light guiding member 32 is arranged in a manner to surround the LED 11 for displaying, and at the same time, includes the circumferential luminescent surface 32a, a circumferential light guiding section 32b, and a dome section 32c having a light guiding function. The light guiding section 32b guides the light being emitted from the LED 11 for displaying to the luminescent surface 32a. The dome section 32c continues from the light guiding section 32b, and at the same time, is installed in a manner to cover the LED 11 for displaying on the internal side of the circumferential light guiding section 32b. The lid member 31 is installed in a manner to cover the dome section 32c of the light guiding member 32. Then, the image forming apparatus is constituted in such a manner that the dome section 32c may include an insertion hole section 32d, the lid member 31 may be inserted in the insertion hole section 32d of the dome section 32c, and a wall section 31b for adjusting the light being emitted from the LED 11 for displaying, which is guided to the circumferential luminescent surface 32a, may be included. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
