摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress jitter of an all-optical regenerative repeater for all-optical signal, applicable to an intensity modulation method. <P>SOLUTION: The all-optical regenerative repeater for DPSK signal comprises a delayed light delay detector 101 which combines DPSK modulation optical signal with the signal in which DPSK modulation optical signal is delayed by Li bit corresponding to Li bit length of input signal series, an all-optical regenerative repeater 102 which eliminates noise component of the optical signal whose intensity has been modulated from the delayed light delay detector 101 and outputs demodulation signal whose noise component is eliminated and intensity is modulated, a jitter-suppressing optical carrier generating circuit 104 which generates optical carrier signals for generating phase-modulated optical signals by receiving demodulated signal that has been intensity-modulated, synchronizing with the demodulated signal to generate optical clock signals of which jitter has been suppressed, and using the optical clock signals, and an all-optical phase modulator 105 for generating the phase-modulated optical signals based on the optical carrier signal and the optical signal intensity-modulated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
