PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus attaining compatibility for both subjects utilizing toner, by providing a toner conveyance member in a substantially horizontal direction on a partition wall and efficiently feeding the toner to a toner feed chamber from an opening part, and preventing excessive toner feed to the toner feed chamber.

SOLUTION: The developing apparatus makes lower the developer conveyance force of the substantially horizontal direction by an agitation paddle 106, than other parts, at the upper part of at least one or more opening parts 107 for developer supply provided on a partition member 109 for supplying a developer from a toner-storing chamber 101 to the toner-feed chamber 102.
