PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub transmission improved in the shift of a transmission suppressed in impact. SOLUTION: This hub transmission includes a hub axle 10, a driver 11 rotatably supported by the hub axis 10, a hub shell 12 rotatably supported by the hub axis 10, a power transmission mechanism 13 disposed between the driver 11 and the hub shell 12 to transmit rotational power from the driver 11 to the hub shell 12 via a plurality of power transmission passages, a shifting mechanism 14 for selecting one of the plurality of power transmission passages, and a power transmission auxiliary mechanism 15 disposed between the driver 11 and the hub shell 12 to transmit the rotational power from the driver 11 to the hub shell 12.
